The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, in Lafayette, will present the annual American Classic Designer Handbags event beginning on Tuesday, February 16. Appropriately located on Golden Gate Way, under the watchful eye of Marquis de’ Lafayette, the well-known landmark will become a purveyor of high end handbags sold at yesteryear’s prices.

This well attended promotion will celebrate the creative geniuses of Dooney & Bourke and Coach, both fashioned by American designers who were inspired by modern world nuances. Engineered with the highest regard for materials and craftsmanship during the 40’s through the 90’s, such features as expertly structured, timelessly chic, elegant but functional, and glamourous on-the-go define each fashion accessory. While several of the styles have since been discontinued, their signature hardware, contrast interior design and durability will confirm authenticity.
