Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop’s Fall Merchandise Event a Family Affair

Like the seasons, the dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, are in transition as they prepare for the Fall Merchandise Event. Scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 13, and run through Saturday, September 17, this typically well-attended shopping spree offers great finds for the entire family, as well as for the home.

In the poetic sense, autumn is a time to reflect, to take inventory. To that end, you might want to peruse the various retail venues to determine this year’s colors, textures and trends in garments and home décor accoutrements. Don’t be surprised when you see similar merchandise at the thrift shop—for a fraction of retail prices. You also might want to remind your family that the Fall Merchandise Event will include coats, scarves, sweaters, business attire and shoes for everyone.

As for the home, a wide selection of décor items offer a warm and a welcome touch. Likewise, beautifully illustrated books promise to grace your entry and coffee tables. Be advised that the two previous thrift shop events were “exceedingly” well attended, so you might plan accordingly.
