Cattle Grazing Above East Bay Communities: Photo Of The Day

LAMORINDA, CA — Do you ever look at the hillsides around us? Chances are, cattle are grazing somewhere up there. And after all of the moisture we had last winter, the hillsides are covered with happy cows!

Cattle have been an important part of California's economy for more than 100 years, generating almost $10 billion in 2015 between the beef and dairy industries.
