Chase Ends In Lafayette Crash, Police Say

LAFAYETTE, CA — Two people were arrested Tuesday night in Lafayette in connection with a chase that began some 20 miles away in El Sobrante, police said.

At 10:06 p.m. Tuesday, the Lafayette Police Department announced on Nixle that the pursuit came to an end on Woodborough Road.

There was no threat to the community and no outstanding suspects, police said

Police remained were expected to remain on Woodborough Road for several hours to process evidence from a crash that happened as the pursuit came to an end, according to the Nixle alert.

Further details were not immediately available late Tuesday night.
