Well, it's December and for Christmas-loving Lamorindans that means one thing: Santa's Bag Boutique is open.

Started 21 years ago in 1989 by Judy Gregerson and her friends, Santa's Bag remains one of the year's most popular events. Hosted and sponsored by the Lafayette Community Center every December, the boutique is packed with the work of more than 60 local artisans.

“I have found that the community was so supportive and it has grown to a great community event,” said Gregerson. Santa's Bag will continue through the weekend from 9-5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
