Bike It! A bike festival at Chabot Space & Science Center

Bring your bike and get geared up to experience a Chabot bike-fest. Joined by community bike shops and groups, we're celebrating spokes with hands-on clinics and demos, conversations with bike experts and enthusiasts, guidance on alternate transportation, and bike hikes in the redwoods. At Chabot, we're not just exploring the stars in the sky, we're also discovering the Earth. What better way to explore our land than on a bike.  Learn how much energy it takes to make a milkshake using a bike-powered blender. Fentons ice cream, Chabot’s science and your pedal power make the ultimate spoke shake!

There’s a bike valet for those who would like to explore the Center after riding. Professionals will be on hand to answer questions about fit, helmets, attaching a child tow and more. Family friendly, but you don't have to have a kid to join in on the fun.
