Music of the Night -- From Mozart to "Mamma Mia!"

TAPESTRY, The Bay Area’s only combined vocal and handbell ensemble, is marking its twelfth season of entertaining and raising funds for charity by performing MUSIC OF THE NIGHT---Gems of the Stage. 

The program takes audiences on a musical journey of best loved music from Mozart to “Mamma Mia!”  and from the opera, to the Victorian music halls of Gilbert and Sullivan, and to the glitter and glamour of the London stage and Broadway.  They will sing and ring everyone’s favorite show stoppers.

Concerts in support of OPEN HEART KITCHEN and GARDEN OF GRACE will be performed at Rossmoor, Walnut Creek, Wednesday, April 25; Trilogy at Rio Vista, Saturday, April 28; Walnut Creek United Methodist Church, Friday, May 4, and Asbury United Methodist Church, Saturday, May 5.  All  concerts are free to the public and begin at 7 PM. A reception follows the Asbury concert, and Tapestry’s Walnut Creek United Methodist Church’s concert will include their annual pie-party reception.

TAPESTRY will close its spring concert season with a performance at the Danville Village Theater, Danville, Sunday, May 20th, at 7 PM.  The concert is a benefit event for the San Ramon Historic Foundation and for facilitatingTapestry’s fundraising efforts locally, nationally, and globally.  Tickets are $25.00 and include a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception.  Tickets may be purchasedon-line at website, www.danvillevillagetheater.com.
