Specialist at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and adjunct professor at Monterey Peninsula College.
Join George as he presents a broad overview of what happens
to our garbage as it enters the ocean - with a focus on the
misnamed Great Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch and the debris coming to the west coast of North America from the Japanese tsunami. George will also talk about some of the current research in Monterey Bay focused on debris.
