The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex - Bette Davis and Errol Flynn star in this lavish 1939 production about the tumultuous love affair of Elizabeth I and the ambitious young Earl of Essex. Elizabeth mistrusts Essex's intentions with good reason -- his desire for power is stronger than his love for England.
The film will be hosted by movie buff James Keller, who will provide an engaging introduction and then share the Hollywood "back story" following the film.
