
A firefighter was injured during a structure fire that caused an estimated $200,000 in damage to an Orinda home today, Moraga-Orinda Fire District’s chief said.
The single-alarm fire was reported at 9:03 a.m. in the first block of Woodcrest Road, Fire Chief Stephen Healy said. Twenty personnel from various agencies responded to the scene.
The blaze started in the attic of a single-story home and quickly spread to other parts of the house before it was declared under control at 9:25 a.m., Healy said. One firefighter suffered a minor injury during the incident, he said.

No other injuries were reported.
The fire caused major damage to the home and displaced its two residents, according to Healy.
