Good News For Motorists: Concord DMV Office Reopens Next Week

News from the DMV:

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding local customers that the Concord filed office located at 2070 Diamond Boulevard will reopen to the public on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 8 a.m. The office closed for renovations on Friday, April 11, 2014.

The renovations include the installation of a new heating, air, and ventilation system, new furniture, lighting, interior and exterior paint, parking lot resealing, and ADA accessibility upgrades.

The DMV wants to remind customers that there are over 20 online services available onwww.dmv.ca.gov. A few of those options are to renew your registration and driver license, complete your change of address, request your own driver record, and make an appointment.

· Walnut Creek - 1910 N. Broadway, 6 miles away

· Pittsburg - 1399 Buchanan Road, 14 miles away

· Vallejo - 200 Couch Street, 16 miles away

· Oakland - 5300 Claremont Avenue, 19 miles away
