LAMORINDA, CA — Paul Greenstone pointed his camera at the lovely Orinda Theatre, opened in 1941 and still retaining its original neon and ornate interior. According to SF Gate, "The theater was designed by Alexander Aimwell Cantin, an associate of legendary San Francisco architect Timothy Pflueger. Cantin also crafted the Royal, Castro and Alhambra theaters in San Francisco and the Fox in Oakland, as well as Alhambra High School in Martinez and the Rheem Theater in Moraga."

Thank you for the photo, Paul!

If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we’d love to feature it on Patch.
