Indecent Exposure Near Lafayette Elementary School: Police

This man was arrested on Tuesday, according to Lafayette Police.

LAMORINDA, CA — A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly touching his genitals while staring at children from a vehicle near Lafayette Elementary School, according to police.

Officers responded at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday to a call reporting the alleged indecent exposure in the area of School and First streets. The caller provided a description of the suspect and vehicle as it drove away. Officers located the vehicle on eastbound state Highway 24 and pulled it over, then the driver, Bay Point resident Franklin Rivera, was identified as the suspect, police said.

Rivera was eventually booked into county jail in Martinez on suspicion of indecent exposure and is being held in lieu of $5,000 bail, police said.
