Barbara Gill Lee-Wise, a former resident of Orinda, graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. She and her family moved to the Lamorinda area in the late 1960s. Lee-Wise was president of the Orinda Cancer League as well as a member of the Junior League, the Orinda Country Club, the Orinda Garden Club and Hospice of the East Bay. Lee-Wise passed away on July 24 at the age of 87.
