After a whirlwind debut and steadily increasing readership, Lamorinda Patch is engaged in a serious hunt for people who like to write, can cover the news in our towns, and love being the first to bring it to the people in our communities.

We're looking for people to help cover schools, city government, events, sports, and breaking news. Respect for deadlines and the written word is paramount. If you have a special talent or discipline with widespread appeal to our neighbors, you may find a spot as a columnist. If you're in school and looking at a career in journalism, we'll pay you to sharpen your skills and build your clip book.

You don't have to be Dostoevsky, but you do have to be comfortable with the written word, have a little style, and a passion for uncovering the hidden elements of life in Lamorinda.
