Watch a pet portrait created before your eyes with oil painter, Robert Carter.
Dog treats on hand. Drop by with your dog before heading down to the parade or after.

Stop in and say hello to Robert while he paints a pet portrait live. Pick up some extra treats for the day and head down to the dog parade. Or stop by after the event. Robert will be on hand to answer questions and share his painting techniques until 1pm.

Robert Carter is a local artist known for painting landscapes. But he will also paint your pet portrait!
There is nothing quite like an oil painting of your pooch hanging on the wall at home or the office. Robert will be accepting commissions for your pet portrait on Saturday.

The gallery will donate a percentage of any portrait commission ordered on April 9th to the Contra Costa Humane Society.

A Day for the Dogs: Lafayette dedicates a day to your pooches on April 9th with Dogtown Downtown, dog related vendors, training and good old fashioned dog fun! Stop in, dogs are welcome in the gallery any time.
