Local High School Football Games To Be Televised
Comcast Hometown Network (Channel 104) to film 20 high school games in 2014, including tonight at Campolindo.

Comcast Hometown Network (CHN), Comcastās regional cable network covering Northern and Central California, announced that it televising 20 high school football games this season (see schedule below) -- including tonightās Campolindo game against Napa and the Oct. 3Ā Acalanes vs. Alhambra match-up.
In its fifth year of covering prep football, CHNās games will continue to appear under the banner of āXfinity High School Sports,ā and will be available on Channel 104 to Comcast digital cable customers.
āAs the excitement around Northern and Central California prep football gains momentum, Comcast Hometown Network continues to be the only place that offers local fans a unique experience,ā said Jeff Giles, General Manager of Comcast Hometown Network. āThe matchups this year among a variety of shows remain a key component of our local and regional programming that viewers canāt get anywhere else.ā

Play-by-play announcers for Comcast Hometown Networkās high school football games will be veteran minor league baseball announcer Joe Castellano,longtime contributor to KNBR and Comcast SportsNet Reporter Dan Dibley, andDave Lewis (KCBS, UC Berkeley womenās basketball). San Jose SaberCats head coach Darren Arbet, former UC Davis and University of Nevada Reno football announcer Scott Gordon, and former Colorado State football player Marty Lenz will split the color analyst duties.
And for the first time, sideline reporters will be bringing you stories and perspectives from the coaches and players. Anna Kagarakis and Gianna Francofrom 95.7 The Game will be bringing you up-to-the-minute coverage.

CHNās high school football schedule features many of the top prep teams in Northern and Central California, including perennial powers De La Salle, Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa), Del Oro, Serra, Valley Christian and Monte Vista.
The āXfinity High School Sportsā prep contests will premiere on Comcast Hometown Network (Channel 104), and will be replayed several times. In addition, the 20 complete games will also be available any time of the day or night via Comcastās popular On Demand platform, which is free to Comcast digital customers. To view Comcast Hometown Network games On Demand, Comcast Digital Cable customers can tune to Channel 1 on their Digital Cable lineup or press the On Demand button on their remote control, then click on the āGet Localā section, then click on āComcast Hometown,ā and select āXfinityHigh School Sports.ā
Comcast Hometown Network ( www.comcasthometown.com) continues to be one of the top destinations for local sports coverage. The network is in its sixth season of airing LIVE minor league baseball games -- this year televising games from the California League and the Pacific Coast League, featuring the San Jose Giants and the Fresno Grizzlies. In addition, CHN also televises key high school basketball matchups featuring prominent prep programs throughout Northern and Central California. Comcast Hometown Network has also televised San Jose SaberCats games from the Arena Football League, Stockton Thunder ECHL hockey contests, and college football and basketball games.
