Manhunt Underway For Suspect Who Fled Cops in Lafayette

From the Lafayette Police Department:

Lafayette Officers are currently searching with allied agencies for a suspect who fled following a police pursuit.

Two suspects were detained at the scene, one fled on foot.

The subject, an African-American male was last seen crossing fences in the area of 2nd Street and Mt Diablo Boulevard and heading north. He was wearing red shorts.

Residents are asked to contact Dispatch at 925-284-5010 if they hear or see anything suspicious.

Others are asked to remain away from this area until police clear.
