New Art Show at the Moraga Public Library

Wenda Pyman will be exhibiting her landscape images in a solo show, "Intercepting Light" at the Moraga Public Library for the whole month of July. Wenda has a wonderful eye and compositional sense, which, according to one viewer is "engaging and enlivening, in part, because her work is never symmetrical or static. Wenda's images display subtle mastery of tones, which are varied and harmonious." Be sure to drop by and see her work behind the checkout desk during library hours.

Wenda Pyman says that photography is a means of self-expression, but also she seeks to convey a sense of place for the viewer. She wants the viewer to be transported into the scene and experience that awe and oneness with nature that speaks to her.

Wenda Pyman is a long time member of the Moraga Art Gallery in the Rheem Valley Shopping Center, Moraga. Currently, she is displaying there, as well as several selected pieces (for the month of July) at the Diablo Fine Art Gallery in Walnut Creek.
