Police Arrest Lafayette Man Who Allegedly Robbed Store With Knife
Lakarea Hill was detained by Moraga police and charged with stealing goods from a Lafayette convenience store.
LAFAYETTE, CA — Police nabbed a man with a knife Sunday afternoon after he allegedly robbed a Lafayette convenience store.
The suspect walked into the store in the 3300 block of Mt. Diablo Boulevard around 12:22 p.m., grabbed some goods, and fled, Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
Lafayette Police put out a description of the suspect and officers from Moraga detained him shortly afterward, not far from the store.

The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Lakarea Hill, of Lafayette. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility, where he was still in custody Monday afternoon.
