Prescribed Burn Planned In Lamorinda Tuesday
The controlled burn is expected to blacken 2 to 4 acres.
LAMORINDA, CA — A prescribed burn is planned on Tuesday by the Moraga-Orinda Fire District, according to Orinda Police.
The burn is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. at Wagner Ranch Elementary School.
It is expected to help restore native grasses and other plants to the area.

Nearby residents may see or smell smoke. Signs will be posted cautioning drivers and cyclists of fire equipment traffic and reduced visibility along affected roads.
The controlled burn will be postponed if weather conditions, such as strong winds, warrant.
