Search For Orinda Robber Held Up BART Friday Night
Police searched the trains but the suspect was not located.

BART service experienced major delays Friday evening after a search for an armed robbery suspect in Orinda stopped trains at that station, according to BART police.
BART police stopped a train at the request of Orinda police to allow it to be searched, causing major delays in the Pittsburg, San Francisco and Millbrae directions due to police activity.
The suspect could not be located and the train was released, a BART police official said.
