Take Care Out There, Riders: Bicyclist Injured, Forced Off Road In Diablo
Police are looking for a newer model gray four-door car that fled the scene.

A bicyclist was injured after he was forced off the roadway by a car in Diablo this morning, fire and California Highway Patrol officials said.
Firefighters responded to a report of a collision between a car and bicyclist on Diablo Road and Alameda Diablo around 9:30 a.m., San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Battalion Chief John Viera said.
The bicyclist was evaluated and treated at the scene before he was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, according to Viera.

The vehicle, described as a newer model gray four-door car, fled the scene, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.
The bicyclist may have suffered from a broken nose and wrist, Anderson said. An update on the bicyclist’s condition was not immediately available this afternoon.
