Contra Costa Tale Spinners is a monthly story swap keeping the oral tradition alive featuring a guest speaker and open-mic.

Featured Storyteller In March is an Irish storyteller in honor of St. Patrick’s Day: Bertha Reilly was born and raised in Ireland. She has been involved in drama and storytelling at Stagebridge in Oakland for over ten years. Bertha loves to tell stories on an Irish theme, with humor and suspense, in her inimitable voice.

Adults and teens. Listeners welcome! Storytellers with traditional, literary, and personal tales share a story after the featured speaker. Newcomers, 5 minute limit please.
