Corte Madera Robbery Suspects Foiled By Flat Tire: Police
The theft occurred Tuesday at Solstice Sunglasses at The Village at Corte Madera, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.

CORTE MADERA, CA – Three people suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of sunglasses in Corte Madera were arrested after getting a flat tire while escaping the scene, police said.
The theft occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Solstice Sunglasses at The Village at Corte Madera, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.
An employee confronted the suspects, one man and two women, as they grabbed a large number of sunglasses, Central Marin police Cpl. Vera Hicks said. Two of the suspects got into a physical altercation with the employee, who was injured.

One of the suspects pushed the employee away and all three fled the store with roughly $,7000 worth of sunglasses, Hicks said. A witness provided police with the license plate number of their vehicle.
The Central Marin Police Authority alerted nearby law enforcement agencies about the vehicle and suspects. Shortly after, a California Highway Patrol officer found the suspects stopped with a flat tire just east of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.

Loyresha Gage, 29, of San Francisco, Darlene Gilbert, 27, of Oakland, and Juandell Joseph, 19, of San Francisco, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary, vandalism and conspiracy. They were booked into Marin County Jail.
Police recovered the stolen merchandise, although some was damaged, Hicks said.
