Corte Madera Needs Residents' Submissions for Time Capsule
Residents of all ages are encouraged to comment on what life in Corte Madera is like now, and what it could be like in 25 years.

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- The town of Corte Madera has been commemorating its 100th birthday with events throughout 2016, and the final Centennial celebration is coming up on December 3, when the town presents its Snow Day event, with games, holiday lights, music, fun in actual snow and more.
One important part of the day’s festivities will be filling the next time capsule, to be opened in 25 years, and the town is looking for participants.
Corte Madera residents of all ages are encouraged to comment about what life in town is like now, and what it could be like 25 years from now. What's written will then be sealed in a time capsule until 2041.

The town's looking for responses to one or more of three questions, including:
- What is life in Corte Madera like now? Describe the things you do and see, so that someone reading your comments in 25 years can visualize what life here was like in 2016.
- What will life be like for someone your current age 25 years from now? Try to envision and describe what they will be doing in their everyday life.
- What will the town of Corte Madera be like in 2041? Describe what you think the town will look like. Imagine what people might be doing and discussing in our town.
Participants may insert a photo of yourself or of anything else, a drawing, or any illustration. People are asked to include at least their first name and first initial of your last name. Students may want to include their age and/or grade.
