Crummy Air Quality Means Another Day Without the Fireplace
There will be no warming your toes by the fire through Monday.

A “no-burn” alert has been extended for Monday in western Riverside County, prohibiting the use of fireplaces.
The order from the South Coast Air Quality Management District, was issued because poor air quality was forecast across the region.
Fine particles in wood smoke can penetrate deep into lungs, causing respiratory problems for at-risk populations, SCAQMD officials said.
