Elderly Pair Found Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide
Police found a handgun at the Larkspur home.
LARKSPUR, CA – The shooting deaths of an elderly pair found Friday morning in their Larkspur home are considered a murder-suicide, authorities said.
A male family member found the bodies of a 96-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man around 10:30 a.m. in the residence on Corte Ramon, according to Central Marin Police Authority spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher. Police found a handgun at the scene.
Autopsies will be conducted by the Marin County Coroner's Office. Police said the identities of the deceased will be released by the coroner.
