Jacob Skaggs has a heart for the children of Casa de la Esperanza orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. This is the 2011 Redwood High grad’s 3rd fundraising concert. “This year we are hoping to raise $15,000 to fund professional counseling for the children at the orphanage, as well as to grow the fund allowing college education of current and future Casa college students,” said nineteen-year-old Jacob.
Jacob, a muscian and Northwestern University student, has gathered local teen bands to perform, plus a silent auction, raffle, and authentic mexican dinner for $15. Pre-order tickets for the concert and dinner at alex@concertforcasa.org.
