The culinary tradition of Ethiopia includes the origins of coffee, honey wine, and dishes that tantalize the taste buds with exotic spices.  Don't miss this opportunity to learn about and enjoy the foods of Ethiopia with chef and cooking instructor Selome Haileleoul of Cafe Colucci, Oakland.  This event will include only vegan foods.

Exploring the cuisine of Ethiopia is one of the programs associated with One Book One Marin, as the selection for 2011, Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese, takes place largely in Ethiopia, as well as the United States.
