We are thrilled to present another wonderful season of simulcasts from London's National Theatre!
Anarchic, feisty but growing old, high society drop-out Judy Haussman (Julie Walters) remains in spirit with the Ashrams of the 1960s while holed-up in her dilapidated Art Deco house on the Devon coast. After an operation, she's joined by an assortment of family and hangers-on. Together, they share a few sweltering months of all-day drinking, infatuations, long-held resentments, free love and failure.
"I was purring in tickled contentment because the fine-tuned cast was so functionally dysfunctional...Helen McCrory and Rory Kinnear, two of the finest actors of their generation" -The New York Times
