The Golden Gate Brass Band has been chosen by the Golden Gate National Conservancy to present a series of “tribute concerts” in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. “Musical Bridges to 1937” will include great standard tunes like “Happy Days Are Here Again” and “Puttin’ on the Ritz”.
This free Summer Concert, sponsored by the Corte Madera Community Foundation, will be on Sunday, August 19, 5:00-6:00pm, at Piccolo Pavilion in Old CM Square, the little park at the bottom of the hill where Tamalpais Drive meets Corte Madera Avenue.
Bring the family, a blanket or camp chairs for sitting on the grass, and maybe a picnic dinner. Relax and enjoy live music with friends and neighbors.
