FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK
Where/When: Play Well Marin, 216 Greenfield Avenue, San Anselmo, Daily
Why Go: Because the rain is giving everyone cabin fever and what’s not love about legos (especially when you’re not the one picking up the pieces).
Pricing: $9 an hour weekdays, $10 an hour weekends

Where/When: Bay Area Discovery Museum, 557 McReynolds Rd. Fort Baker, Sausalito, daily until May 18th, 9-4 weekdays, 10-5 weekends.
Why Go: This new exhibit is bound to keep your kids busy. Promise. Everything from blocks and tinker toys to computers where your young Eames (say that three times fast) can design the perfect room for an imaginary client. Future architects, engineers and designers: let your creative juices flow!
Pricing: $8 children (1-17), $10 adults, $ seniors (62+)
Where/When: Mill Valley Library, Wednesday, 3:30pm-4:30pm
Why Go: Your kids will love this special visit by author/illustrator Joe Agee. He’ll read, draw, answer questions and play some word games. Anagram, anyone?
Pricing: free (4 yr olds and up)
Where/When: Corte Madera Library, 707 Meadowsweet, Corte Madera, Saturday 3pm-5pm
Why Go: Do you have a 9-15 year old that’s into Manga (Japanese comics)? Here’s their chance to take a workshop and learn a few tricks of the trade. No experience necessary and all materials included.

Where/When: ITK Culinary, 300 Turney St., Sausalito, Sunday, 10am
Why Go: Because your aspiring young chef is ready to sharpen his skills with the help of the Culinary Dude. Croque Monsieur, anyone? For kids 4-14.
