Barnes & Noble Corte Madera Offers Special Holiday Shopping Event for Educators on Saturday, December 5

To recognize the company’s commitment to pre-K-12 educators and administrators, Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the nation’s largest retail bookseller and a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products, is offering teachers a special holiday shopping event on Saturday, December 5, at its Corte Madera, CA location.

Public, Private, and Homeschool PreK-12 Educators who shop at Barnes & Noble or online at BN.com will receive special discounts* on merchandise:

· 25% on personal and classroom purchases, including books, toys, games, music, movies, tech gear and more;

· 10% discount on all Café consumable purchases; and

· 10% discount on select NOOK devices. (Offer not valid on the Samsung Galaxy Tab® E NOOK® 9.6” or NOOK® GlowLightTM, NOOK Books® or other digital content, and accessories for digital devices. The additional 10% will be taken off price after instant rebate. Limit five devices per customer.)

These special offers are available to pre-K-12 teachers and administrators enrolled in the free Barnes & Noble Educator Discount program. To take advantage of these offers, educators can apply for the Barnes & Noble Educator Discount Card in their local stores. The application form is available in stores or can be downloaded at BN.com.

Public, Private, and Homeschool PreK-12 Educators who wish to have items set aside in advance at Barnes & Noble Corte Madera for the December 5th event should email crm2274@bn.com with their name, school, phone number, and items & quantities to be set aside no later than 12 Noon on Friday, December 4.
