Lines on the Horizon: Native American Art from the
Weisel Family Collection will be the
subject of an illustrated lecture by Jill LeCrone, a docent from the Fine Arts
Museums of San Francisco. Spanning more
than 1,000 years of artistic creativity, the exhibition will focus on the
indigenous arts of the American Southwest such as 11th century
Mimbres ceramics and classic Navajo weavings. This
exhibition will be at the de Young Museum through January 4, 2015.
