CORTE MADERA, CA – Two streets have reopened after a downed live wire promoted road closures and a shelter-in-place order Wednesday morning in Corte Madera.

Police issued an advisory shortly before 7:30 a.m. about the downed wire in the area of 33 Sonora Way. People were asked to shelter in place in the area of Lakeside and Monona drives.

The downed wire was the result of a blown transformer, according to police.

The streets reopened around 8:20 a.m. PG&E crews were at the scene.
