Modernism from
the National Gallery of Art: The Robert and Jane Meyerhoff Collection will be the subject of an illustrated lecture by Dr.
Jim Kohn, a docent from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. This exhibit
features nearly 50 works by Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert
Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Frank Stella and other masters of the post-war
period. The centerpiece of the
exhibition is Barnett Newman’s The
Stations of the Cross, a series of 15 paintings. This exhibition will be at the de Young
Museum through October 12, 2014.
