The course is designed to provide an overview of the agency’s function and operational procedures. In the weekly presentations by department personnel, students are introduced to a wide range of topics and learn about different areas of police work, such as CSI, Detectives, Special Response Team, DUI investigation, and much more. Also included is a tour of both police stations and the opportunity to go on a ride-a-long with a uniformed patrol officer.

For more information, see the class flyer and complete the online application form here. Both documents are also available on our website at www.centralmarinpolice.org under “employment”. Class size is limited so applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
