Police Investigate Shooting Threat At Redwood High School In Larkspur

As a precautionary measure, the Central Marin Police Authority will have a visible presence Friday on the campus.

LARKSPUR, CA – Police will have a visible presence Friday at Redwood High School in Larkspur after a graffiti message stating a shooting would take place on campus was found Thursday.

Police said students on Thursday discovered the graffiti and school officials contacted the Central Marin Police Authority about the message.

As of Thursday night, there was no evidence to support the credibility of the threat, police said.

The school is maintaining its usual Friday schedule. As a precautionary measure, the Central Marin Police Authority will have a visible presence on the campus throughout the day.

"The safety and security of all students and staff is our number one priority and we are working closely with Principal (David) Sondheim and his team on our common goal," police said in a statement.
