“We’re very pleased to be adding Pure and Glam to our business roster here at Town Center” commented Town Center Corte Madera General Manager Monty Stephens. “We feel this type of business will be appreciated by Town Center customers whose on-the-go lifestyle is well suited for what Pure Glam has to offer.”

A blowout bar can be a great way to treat yourself in the midst of running errands or even on a lunch break. Traditional blowouts can consist of a shampoo, followed by a full blow dry and style performed by an expert who has access to a superb array of products and tools. A blowout can be done in 30-45 minutes on average, so it’s perfect for the Marin County lifestyle. Customers range from event hair-seekers, business professionals, and just those looking to be pampered. Blowout results can last several days with little effort and care. Pure Glam will also be offering a “princess” blowout for the younger crowd as a fun activity to do with mom, aunts, grandmothers and friends.

Tara Verkuil, owner of Pure Glam, will apply her passion for organic beauty products to her new dry bar business. Her business started when her young daughter asked if she could try “mommy’s” makeup. Verkuil (who had long been an advocate of healthy and safe products) had a hard look at the makeup and nail polish in her house; “There was no way I’d let her put some of this on her precious skin or on her nails,” she says.

Right there and then, Ecoprincess was born – Verkuil’s first line of all natural and organic products created with little girls in mind. After, Verkuil worked with chemists to create a collection of 100% natural play makeup, bath & body and hair products made with certified organic ingredients.
