Rodoni Wins Marin County District 4 Seat

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- Dennis Rodoni, a director with the North Marin Water District, has been elected supervisor in Marin County's District 4, unofficial results show.

With 100 percent of the vote counted, Rodoni, 64, of Olema, has apparently defeated Novato dairy farmer Dominic Grossi 53 votes to 47 in the contest for the seat held since 1996 by Steve Kinsey, who did not run for re-election.

The district comprises two-thirds of Marin County between San Pablo Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

In other election news, Sausalito voters re-elected incumbent Ray Withy and selected Joe Cox and Joan Burns to the City Council. Withy received 1,533 votes to Cox's 1,525 and Burns' 946 votes. Sam Ruben finished fourth with 880 votes.
