CORTE MADERA, CA – The sales tax rate increases today in Corte Madera from 8.75 percent to 9 percent, according to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration.

Corte Madera voters approved extending and increasing the existing 8.75 sales tax by one-quarter percent in the June 2018 primary election.

The $3.5 million estimated annual revenue from the 9 percent tax is for unrestricted general fund purposes and is in effect until it is ended by voters.
