San Rafael Bank Robbed at Gunpoint
Police say the robber does not appear to be the "Cotton Ball Bandit" serial bank robber who's hit nine Marin County banks in the last year.

A robber held up a San Rafael bank late Friday morning at gunpoint, police said.
The suspect hit the CitiBank on 1004 Northgate Drive at about 11:07 a.m.
The suspect appears to be a middle-aged white man and is holding either a gun or a replica gun in a photo distributed by police to the media.

Police don’t believe the suspect is the “Cotton Ball Bandit,” an at-large suspect who’s hit nine Marin County banks in the last year.
The “Cotton Ball Bandit” is the most prolific bank robber in recent Marin County history, police said.
