Supercuts Sponsors“Give Breast Cancer the Boot” Event in Support of UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center
Supercuts and the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research (RFBCR) are delighted to sponsor UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center’s event, Give Breast Cancer the Boot, held on Friday, September 12, 2014, at the Presidio Officer’s Club in San Francisco. Since 2009, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center has raised nearly $224 million to help generate awareness and education for cancer research. The sponsorship is part of Supercuts’s ongoing commitment to find a cure for breast cancer.
“Supercuts is dedicated to supporting breast cancer research. Our stylists and staff live and work in the San Francisco area and we are very proud to be a part of this year’s Give Breast Cancer the Boot event,” said Tracey Nelson, Regis Corporation’s regional vice president.
All proceeds from Give Breast Cancer the Boot go to the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center to support clinical research, epidemiology, patient care programs and more.

The RFBCR funds groundbreaking research at nationally recognized centers. The focus of this research is on prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and finding a cure. In addition, it supports institutions that assist and treat patients with breast cancer. Since it was founded in 1994, the RFBCR has raised over $10 million.
