Teen Brothers Injured In Car Crash Near Tiburon
The teens were on their way to Redwood High School in Larkspur when the 17-year-old driver lost control of a BMW.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – Two brothers were injured, one critically, when their speeding vehicle ran off a road near Tiburon and struck the roof of a residence 60 feet below the roadway this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The teens were on their way to Redwood High School in Larkspur when the 17-year-old driver lost control of a 2015 BMW 528i on a curve of northbound Paradise Drive around 7:30 a.m., CHP Officer Andrew Barclay said.
The BMW struck the roof of a residence at 261 Martinique Ave. in unincorporated Marin County east of Tiburon and became wedged between a retaining wall and the deck of the residence, Barclay said.

Both teens had to be extricated from the vehicle by Southern Marin Fire Protection District crews. The 17-year-old driver suffered critical injuries and his 15-year-old brother suffered moderate injuries. Both were
taken to Marin General Hospital, Barclay said.
