Town Center Corte Madera Unveils The Beautiful New Elephant Fountain / Community Celebration on Friday, July 15

New location at south end of Center features an interactive space with pop-up water features and a playful, spouting elephant fountain

Town Center Corte Madera’s treasured elephant fountain was unveiled the week of June 22nd and open for all to enjoy in its new location across from Barnes & Noble. The Center’s beloved elephant will sport a fresh new look and will be surrounded by a playful, interactive pop-up water feature designed to create endless fun for families and children of all ages. Work will continue on a number of additional Town Center improvements throughout the summer. www.shoptowncenter.com

A community celebration will take place at the elephant fountain across from Barnes & Noble on Friday, July 15th from 4-5pm when participants in Town Center’s “Name the Elephant” contest who chose the winning name - “Ellie” - will be honored at a special event. Complimentary cupcakes, t-shirts, face painting and balloons will be available in celebration of the return of the beloved elephant fountain.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the elephant fountain and beautiful water feature in its new location,” said Town Center General Manager, Monty Stephens. “The Center’s elephant represents a pleasurable and entertaining element that families have enjoyed for many years here and with summer now upon us, the elephant fountain will offer a nice respite from the heat of the day.”
