Marin County Residents,The National Weather Service (NWS) is anticipating an approaching atmospheric river Tue 1/26 through Thursday 1/28. The NWS is forecasting heavy rain and high winds, with the heaviest concentration being between 11pm tonight and before sunrise tomorrow. Sustained winds are anticipated to be between 30 to 45 MPH with gusts up to 60-70 MPH. There is a potential for localized flooding in poor drainage areas. The winds could topple trees and power lines especially for locations that are susceptible to winds.Stay tuned to local radio and television stations for the latest weather information or you can call the National Weather Service 24 hour weather line at 831-656-1725.
