Two Suspects Nabbed in Larkspur Shooting: Police
Police say the victim was shot in the head last week at a parking lot in a local shopping center.

LARKSPUR, CA- Two suspects were arrested Wednesday morning for an armed robbery and shooting that occurred last week in Larkspur, according to the Central Marin Police Authority.
Police and SWAT teams served a search warrant at 5 a.m. at a home in the 600 block of 39th Street in Richmond.
One man, identified as 19-year-old San Rafael resident Ivan Margarito, was arrested without any trouble, according to police.

The other man, identified as 20-year-old Richmond resident Alexander Cunningham, armed himself with a gun and jumped off a second floor balcony to escape, police said. He tried to hide in the backyard of a nearby home but was arrested without any more trouble. Both suspects were booked into jail.
The victim was shot in the head shortly before 7 p.m. last Wednesday in a parking lot on Larkspur Landing Circle, a shopping area, according to police.

The man had an argument and then a scuffle with the suspects, who shot him once, police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher said.
The bullet did not penetrate the man's skull and he had to spend only about two hours in the hospital. The man and other witnesses were able to provide officers with descriptions of the suspects and a description of the getaway vehicle. Moviegoers at a nearby theater were also briefly asked to stay inside while police secured the scene.
Both suspects are being held without bail on suspicion of attempted murder and armed robbery, police said.
They are scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Thursday in San Rafael. Anyone with information about the shooting is being asked to call the Central Marin Police Authority at (415) 927-5150.
