City of Lemon Grove to Form Budget Focus Group
Community members are needed to serve on the group, which will meet once next month. The deadline to throw your name in the hat is April 4.

Got a couple of hours to give the city?
In an effort to hear from the public before the upcoming budget process beings, the city is forming a budget focus group and looking for about a dozen individuals who would like to participate.
During its recent goal-setting workshop, the City Council agreed on a need to hear public opinion on next year’s budget priorities. The purpose of the budget focus group will be to provide councilmembers with a sense of priorities and choices that the group hopes are addressed in the upcoming budget, according to a press release issued by the city.

The group will be made up of 10 to 12 people and meet once in April prior to City Council budget discussions. City Manager Graham Mitchell will lead the group. He says the meeting will last about two hours.
Mitchell says that if more than 10 to 12 individuals express interest in participating, names will be drawn randomly to assure a wide range of interests are represented.
