
The library's celebration of Black History Month continues Tuesday with special music from a Navy band, and a historical presentation on the first African American graduate of West Point.
The Navy Southwest Seabreeze combo will perform a family friendly concert at 3:30 p.m., followed by program at 4:30 p.m. by the Greater San Diego Chapter Buffalo soldiers Ninth and Tenth (Horse) Calvary Association on Henry O. Flipper, West Point Second Lieutenant of Buffalo Soldiers Calvary Association.
Refreshments will be served.

"Our Black History Month events provide an opportunity for families to enjoy free entertainment and education, while also celebrating the accomplishments of African Americans throughout history," said Branch Manager Amparo Madera.
